Trailcam
The main trailcam that I use.
I use trail cams from Newtech. I have some older models that are still available and that work well. However, the one I prefer is the 4k 60MP Dual Lens Solar Powered Trail Camera, which I hope is still available. The Dual Lens camera has a dedicated lens for daytime photos and another for nighttime photos. The advantage of this dual-lens setup is evident in the improved quality of photos and videos at night. This camera uses a larger memory card as well, which makes longer videos possible, and I like this compared to the micro SD card on other models. I will be replacing my older one of the previous model with another of these soon.

I don’t; I use video editing software. For vertical videos, I typically use the horizontal videos recorded by the trailcam and then crop them with a pan used to follow the animal. This is easy with KDENLIVE, the software I use (which is entirely free in all meanings of the word). It has excellent us of keyframes that are employed in a Transform effect that allow for key framing position and zoom on a video. It is quick and simple to use.
